Benedict Cumberbatch fans raise £18,000 for UNICEF UK in honour of his birthday

Benedict Cumberbatch turned 41 on 19 July and his fans responded magnificently by raising £18,000 in our annual fundraiser for UNICEF UK.

UNICEF are the world’s leading organisation working to protect children in danger. UNICEF protects and defends the rights of every child. They operate in 190 different countries including the UK helping to provide food, vaccines, clean water, education and disaster relief to children in need. They rely purely on charitable donations to provide their life saving aid.

In previous fundraisers run by Cumberbatchweb Benedict’s fans have raised over £62,000 for charities such as The Prince’s Trust, Myeloma UK, Teenage Cancer Trust, Refugee Support Network, MOAS and Lesvos Solidarity.

As always we’re thrilled the fans have come together to raise money for such a wonderful cause in honour of Benedict’s birthday!
