Benedict Cumberbatch nominated for Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Awards

Imitation1Benedict Cumberbatch has been nominated for the Screen Actors Guild and Golden Globe Awards. Benedict is a double nominee at the Screen Actors Guild Awards being nominated for best actor for his role in Alan Turing in The Imitation Game and best actor in a mini series or movie for his role in Sherlock. The entire Imitation Game ensemble was also nominated for best film ensemble.

Benedict was also nominated today for a Golden Globe Award for best actor for The Imitation Game.

In other news The Hobbit The Battle of the Five Armies (in which Benedict has dual roles as Smaug and the Necromancer) is released tomorrow in the UK. You can read our review here.
