The Imitation Game opens the BFI London Film Festival

BFILFFThe BFI London Film Festival kicked off in style on Wednesday 8th October with a screening of The Imitation Game. The stunning biopic featuring Benedict Cumberbatch as cryptographer and father of modern computing Alan Turing was met with a fantastic response from the crowd which included some of Turing’s family. Benedict was in attendance at the gala walking the (very rainy) red carpet with leading lady Keira Knightley. Mark Strong, Charles Dance, Alex Lawther and Allen Leech were also in attendance.

You can see videos of the red carpet, Benedict’s incredibly touching introduction to the screening and the full Imitation Game press conference on our videos page.

Photos of the red carpet (including some stunning black and white shots) have also been added to the site (forgive us – the galleries are a work in progress).

We were in attendance at the premiere (thank you so much Studio Canal for inviting us) and look out for our review and photos from the screening coming this weekend.
