The Imitation Game premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival

ClarkK The Imitation Game has premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival to standing ovations and great critical acclaim. Benedict Cumberbatch plays Alan Turing in the biopic alongside Keira Knightley. Benedict and Keira were in Toronto to promote the film alongside director Morten Tyldum and co-stars Allen Leech and Matthew Goode.

You can see a variety of interviews from TIFF including the full press conference on our videos page. Our correspondent Gabrielle also saw the film in Toronto and has provided a review for us.

Various photos of Benedict at TIFF have been added to our galleries (please note due to technical issues our galleries cannot upload new pictures at the moment – while we look at alternatives we’re having to go a little old school with new pictures)

In other news Benedict took home the award for best actor at the TV Choice Awards this week for his portrayal of Sherlock Holmes in Sherlock. As he could not attend as he was at TIFF his parents collected the award on his behalf. Sherlock also won best TV Drama.
