Benedict Cumberbatch at the Cheltenham Literary Festival

Photos of Benedict Cumberbatch (and interviewer Louise Brealey) have been added to the gallery.

Benedict discussed Sherlock and his career in front of a capacity crowd of over 2000 fans at the prestigious Cheltenham Literary Festival on Saturday 6th October.

We’re delighted to bring you our report of the talk at which Benedict discussed his roles in Sherlock, Parade’s End, The Hobbit, August: Osage County and Frankenstein, the perils and joys of fame, his process and his passion for his charity work for The Princes Trust to an audience of over 2000 fans who had flown from all over the world to see him.

Finally don’t forget to sponsor Benedict for the Palace to Palace bike ride that he is taking part in next Sunday. Benedict has raised over £5152 and Team BC have raised £6492 all together which is extraordinary work on the part of the fans in little over two weeks! Well done everyone but still a way to go yet – if you haven’t already you can sponsor Benedict here.
